Ukraine’s most popular airline is Ukraine International Airlines, a company with shareholders from Austrian Airlines and Swiss International Airlines, with the company operating daily flights from Gatwick to Kiev. British Airways also offer daily flights to Kiev, with economy tickets at around £120 one way. Other operators offering flights to the country include Delta, Lufthansa, Austrian Air, Malev, CSA, LOT, TransAero, KLM, Swiss, Air France and SAS.

Flight times from London to Kiev are around three and a half hours, and Kiev’s airport offers a number of amenities that would be expected – regular bus services as well as taxis, car hire, bureau de changes, duty free, shops, restaurants and bars amongst other things.
